We are proud that we were able to double the proportion of women in our team with our last recruiting phase in autumn. It is particularly important to us to increase the visibility of women in motorsport. They are still underrepresented in the various racing series, although there is plenty of potential for young talent. In return, the number of women in professions outside the racetrack is increasing, where they appear as strategists, mechanics or reporters, among others.
This year, we are once again highlighting some of our new female members. Because each of us is making a valuable contribution to TU Wien Racing and helps to shape the future of motorsport.
How did you learn about the team?
I love motorsport and when the team was having an exhibition at the university, I talked to a few members and then applied.
What did you learn in the team that you didn't expect?
Hoosierball, Rage Cage and driving the Transit.

I can play the violin.
Which competition are you most looking forward to?
I'm especially looking forward to FSA.

How did you learn about the team?
I found out about TU Wien Racing at an exhibition and applied afterwards.
What do you like most about the team?
The friendly atmosphere is something I really like, and the fact that people are motivated to teach you things, even if everything is new to you.

I would travel to September because I'm really excited to see how we'll do this season.
How did you learn about the team?
A friend told me about the team and then I visited the exhibition at the TU because I was curious and interested in motorsport. I found the concept of a university racing team very exciting and applied the same day.
What do you like most about the team?
I think it's amazing how friendly and helpful everyone in the team is. You really get the feeling that you are part of a community.
Hidden talent?
I can bake some pretty good chocolate chip cookies.

How did you learn about the team?
I saw a team member wearing the team kit at the train station and thought I'd do some research into what exactly TU Wien Racing is. I was very interested as I've also been following motorsport for a few years. I then knew straight away that I wanted to apply at the next opportunity.
What did you learn in the team that you didn't expect?
I didn't expect to be able to contribute and implement something in every area without much prior knowledge. You also gain a wide range of knowledge from a wide variety of modules.

I can remember every date of birth.
Which competition are you most looking forward to?
I'm really looking forward to this summer in general.

How did you learn about the team?
I've admired the team since I was little and have always wanted to be part of such a cool group!

The community! We are one - 41!
